The Tradition of the Urli: Deeply rooted in regional heritage, the Urli (or Uruli) was historically a prized cookware vessel before evolving into an iconic element of interior decor. Traditionally filled with fresh water and adorned with floating flower petals, marigolds, and floating tlights, it is placed near home entrances or central courtyards to catch the light, purify the ambiance, and extend an exceptionally warm, open welcome to guests.

Care Instructions: After displaying water or flowers, always empty the bowl and wipe it down with a soft, completely dry microfiber cloth to prevent water spots or mineral rings. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, wire scrubs, or abrasive liquid polishes, which can strip the aged patina or damage the intricate details of the deity figurines. For a periodic deep traditional shine, apply a mild paste of tamarind and salt to the brass body, rinse thoroughly, and dry immediately.
